Arts C Models is an international modelling agency that promotes models from around the world in Tokyo, Japan. Our unique style and progressive approach have created opportunities never before seen in the industry. Arts C Models Inc. was established on October 3, 1994 by Mr. Atsushi Miyakoshi. After working nearly 4 years as manager for Ford Models Japan, Mr. Miyakoshi set out to start an agency that would be unlike any other in the business. And it's worked. Arts C's top marks from models and industry professionals has helped make it Tokyo's fastest growing modelling agency. Unlike traditional contract agencies, Arts C Models began operations looking in it's own backyard for talent. With such a large foreign population living in Tokyo, it seemed the most logical place to start, despite the fact others seemed to ignore it's possibility's. An intense model search was launched, and the response was tremendous. Tremendous, yet exhausting. Determined to operate at the highest standard, Arts C took on very few that stepped through it's doors. Gradually, however, by the end of the first year, Arts C had amassed a solid group of models with which most had the agency registered as it's mother agent.  Acting as a mother agency has given Arts C the freedom to limit the number of models hired on short-term contracts from overseas. With so many agencies struggling to pay off large guarantee commitments, Arts C was careful how it played it's cards in such a risky game. Concentration was thus focused on the models at home first. Promoting called, of course, for loads of testing. Fortunately, Arts C could count on the large number of freelance photographers and hair & make-up artists it had come into contact with. What it didn't count on was how impressed it would be with the quality of the results submitted. Soon afterwards, Arts C Models went on to create two new divisions; "Fashion Photography" and "Hair & Make", becoming the first agency to offer clients not only talented models, but talented crews as well. 
The models that work with Arts C are a first-class group of individuals. Most are full-time professional models, while some study Japanese part-time and a few work in Tokyo-based companies. Since many live in Japan for extended periods of time, a bond develops between them, creating a more team-like environment. It is this attitude has helped shape Arts C's reputation for having a very professional and honest relationship with it's models and clients.
